Can't Wait to Make some Bees!

The little bee pattern is by Lisa Scherer Art (on Etsy) I changed it a little but she has really nice things. The flowers are from the dollar store near me and I used some black rick rack and little button eyes. And mine have toothpick legs since I didn't have any cinnamon sticks to use.  Happy Sunday.

Black Rabbits were on my list, trying a brown one next.  Top pic is Crows Roost pattern and below is Chestnut Junction pattern.

Irish Man in a sock...

Pattern by Chestnut Junction.  Pretty much the hair and face as the last one.  Painted shirt and hat and made my own belt buckle again.  Both of these, different but yet similar, are made from patterns by two of my favorite makers.

New Man

Have never made a leprechaun before and had to learn how to spell it!

Crows Roost pattern.  He has a painted torso, shoes and hat.  His face is stained osnaburg and pinch-stitched nose, embroidered eyes and smile.  His arms are small rusty nails and I made a buckle from rusty wire.  Oh, his beard and hair, fought with those and settled on orange jute, shredded a bit , glued a bit, stitched a bit and needle felted a bit. He probably needs a shamrock to go with.

Now I am working on his brother for tomorrow.  Wet snow is just starting.  Happy Groundhog day!

Surprise!

I was a little jealous when I saw Isaac's set-up at the gem show in Arizona.  How sweet of him to include something we made here in Michigan!!!

This is a Rabbit

This is a far cry from the pattern I used.  I won't tell because I don't want the pattern-maker to be mad at me.

Drac #1 and #2

Chestnut Junction designs are always cute and clever. This one looks easy but really I didn't find it to be. On the right (Drac #1) I ...
