My head was once for sale in an exclusive shop, I was 16.99. I went home with someone who got tired of looking at me and ended up in the Salvation Army thrift store. Don't get me wrong, those stores are fabulous, especially when an awesome thing like me is found by an awesome shopper who knows a good thing when he/she sees it. And that was me at 99 cents.
It was like that for kind Mrs. Hudson and I got a new hat band and a Joann fabric bow and a black and white polka dot bow tie. Looking around her garage we found this little shovel that she and daughter found at an estate sale last summer.
I love my new look and I am hanging on a beautiful door in Waltz, Michigan. I feel so beautiful!
....and neither is a bear, or primitive doll or any little make-do that will bless your home with a smile. (And if it wears a flower even better.)

New Old Picture
I have a new "old" photo. I found it at the Town Peddler Craft & Antique Mall. It was $3.00. Do you like her hat, or her dog, the best?

New at Town Peddler
Round head Santa, he has a dowel in his hat so it could ruffle. Made just for fun but couldn't get my friend interested in making him.
Look at my Rosemary sprigs in the background.
He got a makeover hat. felt with painted wooden spool. Big old button from my collection and postage stamp quilt pants and scarf.

Please comment if anyone is out there.
I have never had a comment on this blog (except for my own). Is anyone out there??? These are two of my latest fall things. Kinda big things, the bottom one is made from a bank bag. Hello!

Simple crow doll with sweet annie and rusty stuff.
Someone took her hair off and I had to redo it, so she got a make-over. Sometimes that happens in stores.
I have lost the pattern for this Annie, but the little bear is a Sweet Meadows one.
Turkey Jack (pattern by Simply Nantucket) my version with less fru-fru.
Star with some vintage needlework and an old pin, I like.
