Pumpkin Love

I like to make anything that has a pumpkin.  John says he should be Caspar.  I made him out of osnaburg from a pattern by Chestnut Junction, but I painted the pumpkin burnt umber.  Also Paul, Jackie's husband says pumpkins should be round.  I like both.

It is really hard to photo something in a glass frame but you can get the idea.  I love making these, just taking an old frame and a picture of a picture and finding a caption, using a bit of old lace to decorate.  I sell these at Town Peddler for peanuts!! LOL!!

May dolls

These two are the last dolls I made in May.  The bless my garden one is sold at Town Peddler.  The book was one I managed to squeeze in between garden and sewing and etc.  I don't remember the story but I remember that I liked it.  Does that happen to you, you read, like it, and a couple of days later have no idea what it was about.  LOL

Early May dolls

 I had some scraps with red, white and blue.  Seeing lots of patriotic things in the stores right now.

 Using some of my big red buttons that were in Vee's collection she kept from her Mom's.

 I like to print things like this.  I use a tulip marker.

 Had a skinny spool of brown thread for her necklace.

These are my church dolls.  So fun to make.

Shelf dolls

These are bad girls, the green one's nose is out of joint, the black dress lady's forehead is kinda dark.  But the brown one says she is perfect.  or that's what SHE says.

Their hair all looks like mine these days.
